Due to a number of inactive accounts, we will begin doing activity checks periodically. Accounts that have been inactive for three months or longer will be contacted personally. I’ve been quiet on this account lately, but I have not intentions of dropping it.

“Alright,” Blacker says as he moves to the portal Braver has created. He steps through, and comes over to the other side, finding Braver and Laster both.

“Laster!” He moves to embrace the fellow Brainmaster with an affection that is slightly uncharacteristic of him. It had been quite some time since he had seen the other however, and he had grown concerned. “I was afraid it’d be some time before we’d see you again due to these portals.”

Blacker turns to Braver and the new mech. “You must be the one Braver told me about, Red Alert, correct? So tell me about the situation here.”

“Yes, that is correct.” Red Alert said. “My friends, Optimus and Jetfire are trapped in an extremely hostile universe, where they’ve encountered tiny cages, evil cybernetic dinosaurs, and falling buildings. One is injured and unconscious, sitting in a closed off room near our new rendezvous point. Prime says he’ll keep me posted, although I haven’t heard from him since. He said the dinosaurs were still there, so I can only assume they’ve kidnapped him. I’m thinking positive here.”

Red Alert sighs remorsefully, hoping his worst fears had not been realized. “As for the portal, I pinged Braver the coordinates for it, but I shall again, as they have moved from their last position.”

Red Alert pings the new coordinates to Braver, hoping the Dinosaurs didn’t find Jetfire too. “I have my tools with me, because I knew one of them was bound to be hurt.”

Braver reprograms his device with the new coordinates as he speaks. “Right, I was thinking the three of us could fight off the enemies and clear a path for Red Alert to find his comrades. After that, we can rendezvous and return to safety through a tear.”

He continues to work and it’s not long before he has the portal ready.

“What do you think, Commander?” he asks Blacker.

The hug is so unexpected that he almost starts blubbering, but he’s able to hold it together as he hugs his leader back. “I’m so glad we found each other!” he nearly sobs. He would like to have more time to talk and recollect with his comrades, but Red Alert needs their help and the rest of their reunion will have to wait.

“Dinosaurs? Is it some form of the Dinoforce?” he asks, only knowing the dinos of his universe.

“Me too, Laster. Me too.” They break the embrace and Blacker turns to Red Alert when he speaks. He nods his head affirmative and when Braver speaks, he says “That sounds good. We can combine into Road Caesar if we need to.”

Red Alert watched the portal with interest as Braver’s comrade came through, looking a little skittish. “Wow. That’s amazing, Braver.” He said, astonished at the portal created, and the fact that a bot could travel through it completely unscathed.

“Good to see you again, Laster!” he says, running up to give his bro a hug. He then turns to Red and adds, “Ah, it’s nothing, really. Um… This is my fellow Brainmaster, Laster! Laster, this is Red Alert.”

Braver then resets his device and creates a new portal for his commander.

Alright, I’m ready Braver.

“It should be good to go now, Blacker!”

Laster embraces the other with something that sounds almost like a sob. “I’ve been looking for you! I ended up here first by accident…” He’s not sure he’s ready or will ever be ready to tell him and the Lieutenant Commander about who he met along the way.

Turning to the other, he greets him with curiosity, “It’s nice to meet you.”

Kre-Os, you say? I don’t believe I’ve encountered any of these creatures yet… Let me know if you find one! They sound fascinating.

I’m sure Commander Blacker or Supreme Commander will enjoy having some company in the base. They enjoy Jan’s presence.

I suppose the Supreme Commander will be fine with you keeping an animal or two, Boater. Animals can be quite a responsibility though, and you’ll have to be careful not to let it loose in the base. It could get caught in sensitive wiring. We can discuss what kind of animal to keep if you’d like.

After thinking about the new situation, I have decided to move my characters to New Crystal City. Ultimately, I am a solid fence-sitter, but the fact that I RP in relatively small universes, and a number of those people have left already was a deciding factor in my leaving as well. I want to go where most of the characters I interact with are, and that looks like it will be NCC.

I joined Vector Sigma at a particularly rough point in my life, and because a couple of internet friends were already here and it looked fun. I decided “Hey, maybe this will help cheer me up”, and strangely enough, it did. I never imagined Victory would expand beyond a handful of us, nor did I ever expect that I would pick up a character in the Primeverse or in Shattered Glass. I’ve hit a couple of rough spots here on my end, but it’s been worked through, and overall the RPing experience has been extremely rewarding.

I’ve met some great people through Vector Sigma, and consider them friends. I bear no ill-will towards the owner of Vector Sigma, and I thank them for the joy I have had playing here. For those of you who choose to stay, both mods and players, I wish you well in your current and future endeavors. I hope Vector Sigma continues to grow. For those of you moving, or who have already moved, I hope we can maintain a level of quality RPing.
